Indians may soon travel to Russia without a visa

Indian tourists may soon be able to visit Russia without a visa as early as spring 2025. While Indian travelers have been eligible for e-visas to Russia since August 2023, the new arrangement aims to further boost tourism ties between the two nations. In May, Nikita Kondratyev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects at Russia's Economic Development Ministry, stated that India is in the final stages of internal state coordination. Consultations between Moscow and New Delhi began in June this year to establish a bilateral agreement aimed at easing visa restrictions and introducing visa-free group tourist exchanges.

Visa-free entry extended by Thailand for Indians

Visa-free entry has been extended by Thailand for Indians nationals. The visa-free entry has been extended indefinitely. Indian citizens can visit the country for up to 60 without applying for a visa. Only the passport will need to be provided to Thailand authorities when individuals visit the country. Apart from Thailand, Indian nationals can visit Sri Lanka till April 2025 without the need for a visa.

Indian visitors are granted indefinite visa-free entry to Thailand

Thailand now offers Indian travelers visa-free entry for up to 60 days, which was originally set to expire on 11 November 2024. This visa policy has now been extended indefinitely. Visitors can also apply for a 30-day extension at a local immigration office if they wish to extend the duration of the stay. The decision to make visa-free entry permanent follows a significant increase in tourism from Indian visitors.
